SRMC partners with Hospice of the Plains, a hometown hospice serving southwestern Nebraska and northeastern Colorado since 1995, so our community has extraordinary care from the beginning of life to the end.
Hospice treats the person, not the disease. Nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers who live in the communities they serve visit regularly, manage symptoms, and support the whole family. Patients are encouraged to keep living fully, attending events and traveling while they're able.
