What guides us

Mission, vision, values & culture

Four simple statements we use every day to make better decisions as a team.

Our mission

Extraordinary care… Always!

Every patient, at every location, every day, every time. We believe every person deserves the highest quality of care — and we hold ourselves to it.

Our vision

Where compassion and care come together.

Shaped by what our patients told us they expect, our vision is a promise to lead with kindness as much as with clinical skill.

Our values

United, we've got you!

Our internal compass. We work as one team and keep patients at the center of every decision — being there for the people who need us most.

Our culture

Positive, innovative, educational.

Inspired by team members who live our mission, we build a workplace that's employee-focused and full of growth — where your work makes a visible difference every day.

Our story

Seventy-plus years of hometown care.

SRMC is a non-profit Critical Access Hospital governed by volunteers from Cheyenne County. We receive no local tax revenue — our board works to offer as many services as fiscally possible, with the equipment and facilities our community deserves.
