Cardiac Rehabilitation

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 308-254-5825 x1111

A monitored exercise and education program to help you recover and build lasting heart-healthy habits after a cardiac event or procedure. SRMC's program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

For people living with chronic lung disease, pulmonary rehab combines exercise, breathing techniques and education to improve stamina and independence. A qualifying diagnosis (made with PFTs, chest CT, X-ray or ABG) and a referral are required. Most Medicare patients qualify for 36 sessions.

Echocardiography & vascular testing

In-house echocardiograms assess the structure and function of your heart, Monday through Friday.

  • Transthoracic echo (TTE)
  • Stress echo
  • Transesophageal echo (TEE)
  • Pediatric echo (newborn – 18)
  • 3D + strain imaging

Stress testing

We offer treadmill cardiac stress tests, stress echocardiograms and nuclear stress tests (including medication-based testing for patients who can't use a treadmill). A provider order is required; we'll call you to schedule once insurance authorization is complete.

Respiratory therapy & testing

Respiratory therapists provide diagnostic testing, treatment and education in the hospital and clinic.

  • Pulmonary function testing (spirometry, pre/post, lung volumes, DLCO)
  • EKG / ECG
  • Holter, event and mobile cardiac telemetry monitors
  • 6-minute walk tests
  • Industrial mask fit and pulmonary clearance
  • Nebulizers, oxygen therapy and chest physiotherapy
  • Mechanical and BiPAP ventilation
  • Respiratory chronic care management

Sleep Lab

Poor sleep affects everything. Our Sleep Medicine Clinic, led by Dr. Mark Neagle, diagnoses and treats sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs and other sleep disorders.

Studies can be done overnight in our comfortable sleep lab or at home with a simple wearable device. A provider referral is required, and our team will call you to schedule.

  • Obstructive, central and complex sleep apnea
  • Insomnia
  • Narcolepsy
  • Restless leg syndrome
